Wyoming back to Massachusetts

The return from Lander was technically uneventful, as I like it to be.  But it was lots of fun and I saw some great friends along the way.  From Lander, after a wonderful NOLS Faculty Summit, I flew home via:

Boulder, CO
Dodge City, KS
Ozark, AR
Little Rock, AR
Jonesboro, KY
Louisville, KY
Findlay, OH
Clarion, PA
Seneca Falls, NY
Norwood, MA!

Enroute I saw beautiful gorges, amazing clouds above and below me, winding rivers, a few balloons, had a planned night landing and cruised between 2,500 and 9,500 feet.  All in all it proved to be an amazing experience to compliment a similar flight undertaken in November, 2005.  I flew at night, in the bright sunshine, above and below the clouds, between rainstorms on both sides of the airplane, and once laughed as I looked back at where I came from, wondering how I would get through if I was going the other way.  Flying over the home airport, I flew over my home and had previously alerted the fam as to when I would be flying over.  They saw me as I passed over a few thousand feet above them and waved a big white sheet to contrast the driveway.  The sky cleared as I approached Norwood and after 45 hours of flying in the previous two weeks, I didn't want to stop.  But, alas, one has to come down eventually, as there are other things that need attending to.  Freddy the Cessna is now getting his annual check-up and will soon be fit for more flying adventures!  Thanks for coming along!
